A True Leader
Mark Kitute Nding’o (Kavaa Nding’o) is the elected Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Kwavonza Yatta Ward, Kitui County, where he is serving his first term. His leadership has quickly earned widespread recognition, with Pollster Rankings (2024) naming him the Best MCA in Kitui County, and Mizani Africa (2024) ranking him the 4th Best MCA in Kenya, Best MCA in Kitui County and Mizani Africa (2025) ranking him the Best MCA in Kenya.
Born in Mamole Village, Kitui County, Nding’o began his education at Mamole Primary School, advanced to Kitui High School, and later pursued higher studies at St. Paul’s University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership & Management, an Executive Diploma in Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Before joining politics he established himself as a leadership consultant, offering strategic guidance to organizations while building business expertise across manufacturing, supply chains, agriculture, construction and the real estate industry.
His diverse professional background strengthened his ability to drive community-centered development while balancing governance with innovation.
In addition to his legislative work, he is the Founder of the MK Nding’o Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering lives and transforming communities. Through the Foundation and other grassroot initiatives, he has championed projects in education, youth empowerment, access to water, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods across Kitui County.
Guided by the values of service, integrity, and transformation, Mark Kitute Nding’o represents a new generation of leaders in Kitui County, one focused on accountability, inclusive growth, and community impact.
